As the IPL 2025 started with all its thrills, fans are enjoying some unmissable shows on the cricket field. After Ishan Kishan joined Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise got an explosive batter and fans already witnessed that glimpse in the last game.

As the wicketkeeper-batter is in an exceptional form, his recent comparison with Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan leaves umpire Anil Choudhary in splits.

Ishan’s Answer Stumps Umpire Anil Choudhary

Known for his on-field brilliance and quick wit, Ishan Kishan once again delivered a moment of humour off the field. When umpire Anil Choudhary playfully questioned his habit of excessive appealing and the changes in his wicketkeeping, Ishan cheekily referenced Mohammad Rizwan, sparking a hilarious moment.

“I think umpires have become smart. If I appeal every single time, even decisions that are out they will give as not out. Instead, appeal once, appeal only when it’s actually out, and they will also have confidence that we are calling at the right time.” Ishan said

“Warna abhi (Mohammad) Rizwan type kuch karunga toh phir aap log ek bhi baar nahi denge.” he hilariously added.

Ishan Redefines SRH's Destruction

After ending a long IPL stint with the Mumbai Indians, Ishan Kishan joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad in this edition. The wicketkeeper-batter’s inclusion gave a huge boost to the robust squad. Known for fiery batting, Ishan started showcasing brilliance from the very first game of this season. While facing the Rajasthan Royals, he shone with a well-crafted century.

He played an unbeaten knock of 106 runs in just 47 deliveries with an exceptional strike rate of 225.53. With that knock, he helped the side to put on a massive total of 286 runs on the board.

As SRH’s lineup is already decked up with destructive batters like Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Nitish Reddy, and Heinrich Klaasen, and Ishan Kishan’s entry added more depth. As they started off the season with a thrilling victory, they will try to continue their dream run in the tournament.
