Pakistan have quite a few top-order batsmen who can wreak havoc, and Fakhar Zaman is one of them without having any second thoughts. Fakhar’s brilliance in white-ball cricket has reaped rewards for the Man in Green, who performed admirably in the 2017 Champions Trophy final against India, scoring a scintillating century to take his side to glory.

In that contest, Babar was there as well, scoring 46 off 52 balls after coming to bat at No. 3. Pakistan won by 180 runs, and both of them were pioneers in their remarkable victory.

In a recent conversation with local channel, Fakhar was asked with whom he likes to bat more than anyone else. The Southpaw replied with the name of Babar Azam, who has been re-appointed as Pakistan's white-ball captain ahead of T20 World Cup 2024, to be played in the West Indies and the USA post IPL 2024.

"I have played Tests, ODIs, and T20s, and I have also batted with about 11 or 12 partners. The experience has been different in each format, but honestly, I enjoy batting the most with Babar Azam," Fakhar said, as quoted by CricketPakistan.com.

Further, Fakhar particularly highlighted why exactly life becomes easy while batting alongside Babar.

"Babar minimizes dot balls, so there's less pressure on me. Even though I play aggressively, my job is to make the game easier for the non-striker. Whenever I have played with Babar, I feel that he makes it easier for me as well because it's not necessary to score runs by hitting boundaries every time, the way he rotates the strike or capitalizes on loose balls for boundaries brings me joy and makes playing with him a delightful experience," Fakhar added.

Babar and Fakhar will bat together soon in Pakistan when they take on New Zealand in the five-match T20I series, starting on April 18. Three matches are scheduled in Pindi, while the other two are set to be held in Lahore.
