In a significant development, Pakistan's former head coach, Jason Gillespie has accused the PCB of not clearing a portion of his salary. Notably, PCB hired Jason Gillespie as red-ball coach in April 2024 for a year-long contract.

However, things went downhill as a string of poor results led to PCB firing Gillespie's assistant before any notice or prior discussion with the Australia star. It didn't go well with Gillespie as he resigned from his role in October 2024 following the insult.

In the latest events, Gillespie revealed that PCB has not released his full salary and expressed that he hopes that the Mohsin Naqvi-led board quickly resolves the matter.

"I'm still waiting on some remuneration from work that has been done. Admittedly that's been a little disappointing," said Jason Gillespie.

Jason Gillespie Opens Up On His Coaching Experience

In the latest events, Gillespie opened up on his coaching experience and remarked that the PCB experience has left it sour and he is not interested in coaching any more team.

"My experience in Pakistan has dampened my love for coaching. It was a huge blow. I was deeply disappointed by how things ended. It made me question whether I even wanted to return to full-time coaching,” Gillespie said.

It is to be seen which team would Gillespie next look to for coaching roles, but at present, he is not interested in coaching duties.
