Fresh from winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 title, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has already expressed his approach for Australia's upcoming three-Test series against Pakistan next month.

Marsh, who is in line to feature in all three Tests, given his recent form explained how the all-rounder will continue to bat with aggression in red-ball as well, much like his style in white-ball cricket.

The 32-year-old slammed 441 runs in World Cup 2023 with two tons and one fifty, out of his two centuries, one came against Pakistan at M. Chinnaswamy in Bangalore. Speaking to ICC, Marsh stated how he has enjoyed his cricket of late and has given up on past issues, and wants to enjoy his game moving forward.

Here's what Mitch Marsh said about his batting approach

"The way I'm going to bat won't change. I feel like I've found my most consistent method over the last couple of years and that's allowed me to really enjoy my cricket. I'm past battling, I'm here to enjoy my cricket and have fun. I absolutely love playing for Australia. I worked really hard to get another opportunity during the Ashes and my attitude is 'what will be, will be', so I've done everything I can."

Marsh will face stiff competition from youngster Cameron Green, who has risen the ranks within the Australian setup.

The first Test between Australia and Pakistan starts on December 14 and will be played in Perth. The second and third Test will be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Boxing Day i.e. December 26, and Sydney Cricket Ground on January 3, respectively.
