The match 21 between KKR and LSG at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata turned out to be quite a thriller with the home team losing the high-scoring match by just five runs. The game turned out be quite tense in the second half and now in a video released by StarSports, Rishabh Pant, the captain of LSG is seen splitting out some tough words for spinner Digvesh Rathi.
Rishabh Pant Asserts His Captaincy On Young LSG Spinner
Rishabh Pant with Venkatesh Iyer batting in the middle is seen telling his spinner that you keep on bowling and let me handle the field placements. The words are the clear indication that Pant was not happy with Rathi and his interference in field changes.

Normally in cricket, captain and bowler together decide the field placement while sometimes the captain also puts faith on the bowler entirely. Digvesh Rathi though is an inexperienced player who is playing his maiden IPL season, and that might be the reason why Rishabh Pant decided to take the matter in his hands.
Even, Virender Sehwag also supported Rishabh Pant's comments from the commentary box, stating that the captain has to take responsibility for some bowlers.
Overall, it was the third victory for Lucknow Super Giants this season while KKR lost their third game out of the five matches they have played. Nicholas Pooran was the star of the show again while Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram also continued their good form.
