Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya commended his star batter Suryakumar Yadav after the latter's remarkable performance led the team to victory against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at their home ground on Monday, May 7.

Chasing 174 runs, Mumbai Indians suffered early setbacks as their top-order struggled during the powerplay.

With this remarkable feat, Surya became the second player to score multiple IPL centuries for MI, solidifying his position as a key player for the team.

“It's unbelievable, the best part of SKY is that he puts the bowlers under pressure. It's sheer confidence, his game has changed, is one of the best batters. He can change a game in a different way, lucky to have him (SKY) in our side,”  Hardik Pandya praised SKY.

Pandya had a successful outing, claiming three wickets for 31 runs in his four-over spell. This performance comes as a significant relief for Team India, particularly considering the scrutiny surrounding Pandya's bowling form. India has entrusted him with the role of specialist fast-bowling all-rounder and vice-captain in their T20 World Cup squad.
