All-rounder Liam Livingstone is turning into a crisis man for England's white-ball team, On Sunday, in the second One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand at Southampton, Livingstone pulled England out of a ditch and pushed them onto a path of victory.

The rain-truncated encounter witnessed the 30-year-old slam an unbeaten 95 off 78 balls after England were five loss for 55.

Former England captain Eoin Morgan firmly believes that Livingstone should be a certain in the playing XI in the upcoming World Cup 2023 in India.

Apart from brutal batting, Livingstone's handy leg-and-off spinning abilities and his supreme athleticism on the field make the cricketer a valued asset, something that England's 2019 World Cup-winning captain told Sky Sports as well.

Here's what Morgan said

"He's a smart cricketer. He is a key part of this 50-over team because of his all-round ability. In the field he is unbelievably good and his ability to bowl both finger spin and wrist spin makes him a dead cert to play every game."

Meanwhile, Livingstone himself has recently opened up about developing his bowling skills and become a full-fledged all-rounder than just a apart-time one.

"I feel like I work on my bowling to become a genuine all-rounder. It doesn't come as naturally to me as batting does, I've changed a few things with my bowling, it sounds weird but I'm in more of a development phase. I only made the change about three weeks ago so hopefully I'll keep getting better and better."

In 14 ODIs, the Lancashire player has scored 397 runs and clipped six wickets for the Three Lions since 2021.
