In a thrilling turn of events during the fourth Test match between India and England in Ranchi, Kuldeep Yadav emerged as a standout performer, showcasing his exceptional skills both with the bat and ball.

Facing a challenging situation on day three, with India trailing significantly, Kuldeep, alongside Dhruv Jurel, displayed remarkable resilience. Battling out 130 deliveries, Kuldeep's determined innings were crucial in keeping India in the game.

Kuldeep, a left-arm unorthodox spinner, didn't just stop at batting heroics. He went on to claim four vital wickets in England's second innings, limiting them to 122 runs.

This performance drew high praise from Michael Vaughan, the former England captain, who likened Kuldeep's bowling to that of the legendary Shane Warne.

The connection between Kuldeep and Warne goes back, with the Indian spinner often speaking about the influence of the Australian legend on his career.

Recalling advice from Warne before a crucial Test series against Australia in 2018, Kuldeep shared how Warne's encouragement to enjoy his bowling led to a memorable five-wicket haul in Sydney, a performance he dedicated to Warne.

Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep's teammate, also lauded his performance, noting how Kuldeep's batting steadied the team and jokingly remarked how Kuldeep nearly outshone him in bowling in the second innings.
