In an electrifying display of skill and fast bowling, 36-year-old right-arm fast bowler Umesh Yadav left cricket fans spellbound during the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024 quarterfinal clash between Vidarbha and Karnataka at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur.

On the third day of the match, Umesh Yadav, representing Vidarbha, showcased his mettle by clinching two wickets off consecutive deliveries, dismantling the stumps of Vijaykumar Vyshak and V Koushik from Karnataka, ultimately restricting them to a total of 286 runs. Notably, Nikin Jose and Samarth R contributed with 82 and 59 runs, respectively, for Karnataka.

As the match progressed, Vidarbha concluded the day at 50/0, boasting a commanding lead of 224 runs over Karnataka.
