Despite all the hustle and bustle, India decided against travelling to Pakistan for the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025. Now, the former Pakistani spin sensation, Saqlain Mushtaq, has blasted India on their approach towards Pakistan, their players, and the entire nation.

Mushtaq Unhappy With India's Approach

Speaking on news channel 24 News, Pakistan's former spinner Saqlain Mushtaq addressed his concern over India's approach towards them. Mushtaq, who is known to be very straightforward, made some controversial remarks about the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He asserted that their attitude towards them was extremely wrong.

Adding that, the people and the kids in Pakistan want to see their favourite players and legends from India play in front of them in Pakistan, but due to the BCCI's policies and their behaviour, they all miss out on seeing their favourite players like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.

"They keep on whining, throwing tantrums. And we are still singing their praises. Our kids want to see Kohli and Bumrah play, but the tantrums are not ending,"

Despite BCCI's approach, the fans in Pakistan still demand that their players travel over here. In fact, even the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) requests them to play in front of them. However, BCCI does not even care for any of that.

Mushtaq, who was furious with the BCCI's behaviour, elaborated on his mistreatment when he was not allowed to travel to India as he waited for his visa before the New Zealand-India series, where he was the spin consultant for the BlackCaps.

"They don't know in which world they live and what they want. Will they stay the same? When will they improve? When will their mindset change?"

Former Spinner Wants Pakistan To Get Proper Treatment

Adding to it, he questioned India's attitude and asked if they are always going to behave like this in the future while advising that they need to change their mindset if they have to do something better.

Further, he asked the Pakistani team to show them who they are by defeating them in the upcoming game at the Champions Trophy. He then requested the ICC to investigate the matter and ensure that Pakistan gets their due.

"They have a bizarre attitude. I think the ICC should look into it, and Pakistan should take a firm stand. They should be taught a lesson."

As for the game, India and Pakistan are all set to play in a thrilling contest on 23rd February at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where the stakes will be higher than ever in the Champions Trophy 2025.
