Kevin Pietersen and Zaheer Khan have moved on from the infamous 'jelly beans' incident which hogged the limelight during India's 2007 tour of England as the two former cricketers were seen engaging in a funny conversation and banter during the lunch break on Day 4 of the Visakhapatnam Test.
As India tightened their stranglehold over England on Monday (February 5) before the first break, the English batting great shared a light discussion and funny banter with his historic Indian nemesis and reminded him he has dismissed legendary MS Dhoni in Test cricket.
"You know who else I've got in my pocket here? The great Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Right there, there he is next to Kamran Akmal," Pietersen told Zaheer on JioCinema, recalling the 2007 Oval Test match where he rained on Dhoni's parade and got him caught out before what would've been his first Test century outside Asia.

Zaheer then humorously recalled a conversation he had with southpaw and former India player Yuvraj Singh, who was amusingly nicknamed 'pie-chucker' for his left-arm spin bowling by his English friend Pietersen, someone whom Yuvraj dismissed on multiple occasions.
"I remember him (KP) giving him (Yuvraj) a special nickname as well," Zaheer said, before Pietersen responded, "Yuvraj got me a few times (with a laugh)."
Pietersen said once two cricketers retire, there is no longer any sense of competitiveness or animosity between them, and they can share a wonderful laugh. The commentator foresaw England skipper Ben Stokes doing the same with his nemesis and premier India off-spinner R Ashwin once they hang their boots.
"It's the same thing a guy like Ashwin would do with Ben Stokes when their careers are finished. They will be having a laugh, having a joke like this," he said.
Pietersen and Zaheer have entertained the fans with their inimitable style of commentary in English and Hindi, respectively, for the first two Tests. The series next moves to Rajkot for the third Test, starting February 15.
