India's win against England at Visakhapatnam was not just a triumph on the scoreboard but a testament to the team's resilience and adaptability. Captain Rohit Sharma, buoyed by the performance of his squad, praised the efforts of his players, particularly highlighting the contributions of Jasprit Bumrah and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

"Yeah, it is. He (Bumrah) is a champion player for us. He keeps delivering for us. When you look at the performance, we did well overall. We knew it wasn't going to be easy in these conditions. So happy with the performance."

Reflecting on Jaiswal's exceptional innings, Sharma remarked, "Jaiswal looks like a good player. Knows what to do in different situations. He has a long way to go. It was an exceptional knock in the first innings and I hope he stays humble and focuses on what needs for the team."

Yashasvi Jaiswal showcased brilliance with a superb double century for India during the second day of the Test against England in Visakhapatnam. Despite a demanding batting pitch and the top order facing difficulties, Jaiswal's resilience stood out as he anchored the Indian innings admirably.

Despite a good batting wicket, Sharma emphasized the importance of converting starts into big scores, a sentiment echoed by many in the team. He expressed pride in the youthful squad's performance, emphasizing the need to give them time and freedom to flourish.

"We love challenge. In the last two years, England have been playing great cricket. To win this game, it was quite pleasing," Sharma said, highlighting the significance of overcoming a formidable opponent.

As the series progresses, Sharma remains focused on maintaining the team's performance levels, acknowledging that the series is far from over.
