Ruturaj Speaks After Dominating Win Against RR

After the match, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad praised the team and the formidable effort of the bowling and batting lineup. He also expressed himself and stated that it is the last match for CSK at the Chepauk and it is a great feeling to win at home ground.

"It's definitely a wonderful feeling, especially in the last home game of the league stage. In the batting stage, when we were around 55 for one in the powerplay, I definitely felt that we were cruising in the game. As a team, we have naturally gifted stroke players coming in. So, my job was obviously to rotate the strike and try to stay till the end if any hiccups occurred. But overall, I think we were cruising without any pressure until the end.

He also talks about his innings and mindset and explains that his work was to rotate the strike and play impactful innings.

CSK have registered their place in the 3rd position in the points table with 7 wins in 13 matches.
