'It's All Crap': Ravi Shastri 'Slams' Hasan Raza For Allegations Against Indian Bowlers

Former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza continues to face flak from prominent names of world cricket after his controversial allegations on Indian bowlers and the International Cricket Council (ICC) at the ongoing World Cup 2023.

Raza, who had claimed Indian pacers are being given a different set of balls that aid consistent swing and accused ICC of manipulating the Decision Review System (DRS) to favour Rohit Sharma's men, was taken to task by Pakistan fast-bowling legend Wasim Akram earlier on.

Now former India allrounder and head coach Ravi Shastri slammed the ex Pakistani player for his remarks, stating there is heaps of rubbish coming out of the mouth of Raza, who is renowned for being the youngest Test match debutant at the international stage.

Shastri Hammers Raza Over False Allegations

Speaking to 'Club Prairie Fire' podcast with Adam Gilchrist and Michael Vaughan, Shastri said Raza is speaking nonsense and asked would his next false allegation be that Indian spinners have put some technology into the cricket ball for it to turn more in favour of India.

"Good job. Good job he is there. Let him stay there. What is talking is a whole load of cock and bull. Next he will come and say when Jadeja bowls it goes at certain revolutions and when Kuldeep comes on the other side, there's another piece of technology on the other side of the ball that makes the ball go the other way. It's all crap," Shastri said.

Raza had echoed his horrific conspiracy on Pakistan-based 'ABN' channel, questioning the integrity of Indian cricketers and the ICC as a governing body organising the 50-over spectacle.

"We are seeing that when they are batting, they bat really well and suddenly the ball starts doing things when India bowl. There have been 7-8 close DRS calls that have gone in their favour," Raza said.

"The way Siraj and Shami were swinging the ball, it seemed like the ICC or the BCCI were giving them different and suspicious balls in the second innings. There needs to be an inspection done on the ball. There could also be an extra layer of coating on the ball for swing," he added.
