Former Indian cricketer and BJP leader, Kedar Jadhav, has made a strong statement about the upcoming India vs Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2025. According to him, India should completely boycott the match scheduled for September 14.

Kedar Jadhav Backs Boycott Of IND vs PAK Game After Terror Attack

Jadhav, who once played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, believes that facing Pakistan is unnecessary at this time. Speaking confidently, he said the game will not take place and also praised India’s military response, Operation Sindoor, which was carried out after the Pahalgam terror attack.

“I think the Indian team should not play at all. As far as India is concerned, I think that wherever India plays, it will always win, but this match should not be played at all, and they will not play. I can say this with confidence...Operation Sindoor is a hit, it is successful…,” he said while speaking to ANI

“Ye match bilkul nahi khelna chahiye, aur khelenge bhi nahi, ye main daave ke saath keh sakta hun," he said.

Now, this debate is gaining attention because the Asia Cup 2025 is just around the corner. As per the schedule, India and Pakistan, placed in Group A, could potentially meet three times during the tournament. Their first match is set for September 14 in Dubai.

However, after the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of more than 20 civilians, the atmosphere between the two countries has become extremely tense. In response, India not only launched Operation Sindoor but also took strict diplomatic measures against Pakistan.

Because of this, many fans and political voices in India are demanding that the Indian team boycott Pakistan altogether. They believe that playing against them in such circumstances would be inappropriate.

The Asia Cup 2025 will kick off on September 9 and conclude on September 28, but whether India will actually play against Pakistan remains a big question.
