After wrapping up the game, Team India’s T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav was seen giving tips to the Oman stars. Oman captain Jatinder Singh later lauded SKY for his generous and inspiring gesture.

Oman Skipper Praises SKY’s Pep Talk

Facing Team India in the last group stage clash, Oman showcased their excellence on the big stage. Facing mighty bowlers, the Oman star stepped up and stunned the world with their heroics. Though the Men in Blue secured victory, skipper Suryakumar Yadav stole hearts off the field, sharing light moments and valuable tips with the spirited Oman players.

As SKY gave some valuable advices to the youngsters, Oman’s captain Jatinder Singh couldn’t stop praising the India skipper’s gesture. Later, speaking to reporters, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to SKY for his kindness and encouragement.

“I’m so thankful that he came and had a chat with the boys. He was just talking about the game, the faces, and how you have to play in T20s. The boys were just asking questions, having their Q&A with him, so that they would have clarity of thought. He was really praising the team a lot,” he said.

Heartfelt Praises For Oman’s Fight

Even Oman ended the campaign without a win, but their mighty fight against India captured hearts. While bowling first, the Oman bowlers troubled the Indian batters and restricted them to 188 runs. While chasing the total, Aamir Kaleem and Hammad Mirza’s half-century kept them in the contest. In the end, India secured a 21-run win, but Oman skipper proudly hailed his team’s fearless display.

“I am extremely proud of the unit, as I have been saying from day one. I think this was a perfect platform for them to see where they stand, and they did not hold anything back. They showed great character in front of the world No. 1 team. The boys will take a lot of positives out of it,” he added.

After the defeat against India, Oman ended up without a victory, and on the other hand, Team India qualified in the Super Four, being unbeaten. On September 21, Team India will face Pakistan in the first clash of the Super Four stage.
