After the IPL match between Delhi Capitals and KKR in Vizag, Ricky Ponting, the head coach of Delhi Capitals, expressed his visible frustration following their defeat.

Delhi Capitals' bowlers had a tough time as KKR batters dominated the match. KKR's excellent batting led them to score 272/7 in 20 overs, the second-highest total in IPL history.

Sunil Narine kicked off the demolition at the top, smashing an impressive 85 runs off 39 balls, including seven fours and seven sixes. However, the real surprise came from Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who scored his maiden IPL fifty.

His innings included five fours and three sixes, showcasing the maturity of a seasoned 25-year-old player despite his young age. Watching him play, one might even question if he was making his IPL debut or if he already had considerable experience under his belt.

Ricky Ponting, the coach of Delhi Capitals, voiced his frustration after the match and blasted the team for a lacklustre performance.

"It's pretty hard to assess right now. I was almost embarrassed with that first-half of the game today, to concede that many runs and 17 wides. It took us two hours as well to bowl our overs. We are two overs behind again, so the guys who bowl the last two overs have four players outside the circle," Ponting said.

Delhi Capitals set to take on Mumbai Indians, who are eager for their first win, boosted by Surya Kumar Yadav's return at Wankhede on Sunday.
