On Wednesday, July 16, RCB star Jitesh Sharma hogged the internet after a video went viral on the internet showing Lord's security denying him entry to the Home Of Cricket. The clip remarked that former India star turned presenter Dinesh Karthik came to his rescue and helped him get an entry into the stadium.

Dinesh Karthik Shuts Down Rumour Mills

The clip spread like fire on the internet, where the fans mocked Jitesh Sharma as the security failed to recognise him. However, in the latest events, the man himself, DK, took to Twitter to burst the rumour mill and remarked that he himself had invited the RCB keeper-batter to the commentary box.

The 40-year-old trolled the fans and stated that Jitesh met everyone in the dressing room and had a great time at Lord's. 

"These are some issues with social media that a lot of people face. I invited Jitesh to the comm box, he had come, and I came and met him down and took him to the comm box and he met everyone there By the way this is below the media center , not the entrance to the ground," tweeted Dinesh Karthik.

Dinesh Karthik's Massive Influence On Jitesh Sharma

Dinesh Karthik acted as RCB's mentor for the recently concluded IPL season where his mentorship helped the Rajat Patidar-led side end their 18-year long wait and lift the IPL trophy for the first time in their history. 

Jitesh Sharma also acted as a stand-in skipper for a few matches and developed a special bond with Dinesh Karthik, which is why the 40-year-old had invited Sharma to Lord's media box as he is busy lending his voice in the commentary box for Sky Sports.
