'I Haven't Seen Any Issues...' Australian Captain Pat Cummins On Indian Pitches

We are just a few sleeps away from the final of the World Cup 2023. Team Australia, who lost their first two games, are heading into the semifinal with seven wins on the trot and high on confidence. They will be taking on the South African team in the semifinals tomorrow at the Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata.

While there have been some statements from the critics about the pitches over here being biased and favourable to India, but the Australian captain, Pat Cummins said that he doesn't have any kind of issues with the surfaces over here.

On the other hand, the Proteas are roaring in the tournament and have been the second-best team in the tournament. They have already beaten Australia in the bilateral series and in the league stage of this World Cup recently and would be hoping for the same in the upcoming knockout game.

Both Australia and South Africa have managed to post big totals in this World Cup and their bowling on these pitches were great as well. Even the Afghanistan team have managed to post totals around 300 on a few occasions but the criticism is coming from the teams who have not performed well enough in the tournament.

Here's what Pat Cummins said about the Indian pitches:

In the pre-match press conference, Pat Cummins, who has led the Australian team into the semifinals of the ongoing tournament said that he doesn't see any issues with the pitches and looks fine to him.

"I haven't seen any issues in the pitches so far in this tournament that we have played on."

The five-time World Cup champions are again closer to winning another one as well but they have the Proteas in their front, who have been pretty destructive in this World Cup. We are rooting for another high-scoring game with the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Quinton De Kock, Heinrich Klaasen etc.
