'He Told Me To....,' Shivam Dube Reveals MS Dhoni's Advice Which Has Helped Him 'Upgrade' His Career

Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings' left-handed batsman Shivam Dube is in the midst of a second wing in his career.

Dube was at the peak of his powers in the recent IPL, which CSK won following an epic thriller against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad earlier this year.

The stylish southpaw has carried his form into the ongoing Deodhar Trophy, where he recently scored a match-winning unbeaten 78-ball 83* to guide West Zone to a 4-wicket win over North Zone in a run-chase of 260.

Speaking to BCCI.com following his match-winning exploits on a tricky wicket, Dube revealed that he has "upgraded his game"

Shivam also revealed MS Dhoni's advice of keeping calm and taking the game till the very end, something that he has been preaching to the hilt.

"I cannot express all the things... I have upgraded my game. I got to know how to finish the game, how to be in the situation, how to tackle the bowlers, that all things are more important and many things are there but cannot express all the things. But, I definitely got some big tips," said Shivam Dube to BCCI.com.

"He told me to play till the end and try to finish the game. You can win many matches from your batting, so keep believing in yourself'," Dube added.

Meanwhile, Dube has earned a recall to the Indian T20I team for the upcoming tour of Ireland, and he will be looking to make a mark in his second innings as an international cricketer.
