After having an impressive last season, Trent Rockets have aligned a strong squad ahead of the brand new 2023 season. Nat Sciver-Brunt will captain the side with a couple of big additions which includes the Indian international skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and South African veteran Lizelle Lee.

Nat Sciver and team will be looking to kick off their campaign with a win over Southern Brave in their first game of the 2023 season. The Nottingham based franchise finished third last year as they failed to qualify for the finals by just two runs against the same Southern Brave. They will be hoping to go one step further this time and get their hands on their first title.

On the other hand, Southern Brave failed to clinch the title yet again after making it to the final in back to back seasons. They finished runners-up once again after falling short against Oval Invincibles.

However, they are one of the most consistent sides in the competition and always accumulated a squad which starts the tournament as one of the early contenders. This time it's no different with Anya Shrubsole continuing to lead the side.

Additionally, they will be very keen to sustain their consistent performance in this new season as well and go one step further to lift the trophy finally this year.
