Pakistan's seam-bowling all-rounder Hasan Ali is well known for his explosive celebratory moves every time he picks up a wicket. But, in a recent game between Dambulla Aura and Colombo Strikers at the ongoing Lankan Premier League, we saw very different scenes as the fast bowler did not celebrate much after dismissing his national teams' captain and star batter, Babar Azam.

Hasan dismissed an in-form Babar cheaply for a 13-ball 11 to pave the way for an eventual massive win for his team.

When asked about his non-celebration in the post-match presentation, Ali said:

"He is our king and my skipper, so there is always a respect element and that’s why I didn’t celebrate," Hasan Ali said.

Coming back to the dismissal, it was a slower delivery from Hasan, which Babar decided to loft over extra-cover. However, the current No.1 ranked ODI batter misjudged the lack of pace on the delivery, and ended up slicing it to Sadeera Samarawickrama, who took a good catch over his shoulder.

Hasan was on fire throughout the night as he backed up the dismissal of Babar with two more scalps to finish with figures of 3/16 in 4 overs.

Chasing a total of 166, the Colombo Strikers never looked in any position to come anywhere close to the target, and were eventually dismissed for 116 in the 20th over.
