The young Yashasvi Jaiswal has owned the ongoing Test series against England with his amazing performances throughout the series. After the fifty in the first innings of the Dharamshala Test, Zaheer Khan felt that Yashasvi possessed all the abilities to become a legend of the game.

The left-hander stitched a propelling 100-run stand with Indian captain Rohit Sharma but got dismissed after a blistering knock of 57 runs. In this inning, he showcased his attacking abilities and smoked three sixes to Shoaib Bashir in a single over.

The Mumbaikar, Jaiswal has already hammered over 700 runs in the five-match Test series against England and also broke the record of Virat Kohli for scoring the most runs in a single Test series against England. Throughout the series, Yashasvi showed great character and even scored two double-centuries, which impressed a lot of former cricketers.

The former Indian seam bowler, Zaheer Khan, heaped praises for the young Yashasvi Jaiswal after his fiery fifty, which led to a powerful start for the Indian team. Zaheer saw the temperament and maturity of Yashasvi and proudly said that he has all the qualities to become a legend.

Here's what Zaheer Khan said on Indian opener:

“Yashasvi Jaiswal was a bit cautious towards the start but as soon as the spinners came, Yashasvi went on the offensive. When you’re in good form, the mindset should be to not give away wickets playing rash shots and Yashasvi displayed just that. You could see the hunger for runs in Yashasvi’s batting. These types of series do not come easily for batters and Yashasvi made the most out of his good form. Yashasvi displayed all the qualities that turn players into legends of the game."

Zaheer Khan described how Yashasvi stood up in pressure situations and eased his arms whenever he saw an opportunity to put pressure on the bowlers. He also talked about Jaiswal's hunger for the runs and thus made a statement that he could become a legend with the character he has showcased since his debut.
