In a touching moment during the PSL 2024 match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, Waqar Younis, the legendary Pakistani cricketer, bestowed a heartfelt compliment upon the Shah brothers, Naseem and Hunain. With his characteristic warmth, Waqar expressed, "Good-looking ho tum saare," meaning "You all are very handsome."

This endearing gesture added another layer of emotion to an already special occasion for the Shah family. The spotlight shone brightly on 20-year-old Hunain Shah as he received his debut cap from his elder brother and cricketing inspiration, Naseem Shah. As Hunain, a promising right-arm medium-fast bowler, stepped onto the field, it marked the realization of a dream nurtured by both brothers since childhood.

In the PSL season nine draft, Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United had secured the services of pacers Hunain Shah and Ubaid Shah. Prior to the draft, the two-time champions had acquired Naseem Shah from Quetta Gladiators, thus completing the trio of Shah brothers in their team.

While Islamabad United failed to win this clash, they would next be seen locking horns with Mohd. Rizwan led Multan Sultans at Multan Cricket Stadium on Feb 25.
