The spat between Mohammed Siraj and Travis Head has been in the headlines after the Adelaide Test and things are not dying off soon. Siraj has been fined 20% of his match fee and received a demerit point, while Head only received a demerit point.

However, after Adelaide, Siraj responded for the first time to the USD 16,500 fine that was imposed on him for the altercation.

Siraj Pays No Heed To Fine, Appears Casual

Mohammed Siraj was nonchalant about the fine and came off pretty cool with it. According to The Sydney Morning Herald, when asked about the fine and its consequences, Siraj responded, “Yeah man, it’s all good.” When he was further asked whether he was upset about it, he simply shrugged off the question and dodged it by saying “I am going to the gym now.”

For the unaware, Siraj and Head both have buried the 'ugly' fight with a warm hug at the end of Day 3 of the Adelaide Test. While Siraj have accused Head of lying earlier, the latter admitted that both of them have sorted out the matter as it was only a misunderstanding on the field.

Siraj, Bumrah Absent From Net Session

In another development, Mohammed Siraj was not seen in the nets alongside Jasprit Bumrah on Tuesday. It was surprising to see the ace pacers absent in the nets where Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were sweating it out alongside Harshit Rana, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill among others.

However, it is fair to say that Jasprit Bumrah and Siraj are managing their workload for the big game at Gabba on December 14. After being plagued with small as well as major injuries lately, the star pacers would be requiring some nursing to attack the Aussies in full form.

The Indian cricket team is scheduled to travel to Brisbane on Wednesday, December 11. They are expected to hold their main training session on Thursday, just two days before the third Test match against Australia. Meanwhile, Australia's bowlers will also have a full training session on Thursday following their net session on Wednesday.
