India have a tough challenge coming up against Australia as the Rohit Sharma-led side will play the defending WTC winners for a five-match Test series on November 22.

It is a crucial series for both teams, and particularly India, who need to win at least four matches to qualify for the WTC finals. The WTC runners-up have made things difficult for themselves as they suffered a shocking 0-3 series defeat against New Zealand at home.

WV Raman's Advice For Indian Team

A lot is on the line for India, and the players in the upcoming series as veterans like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are under the scanner, including head coach Gautam Gambhir, who is likely to be sacked as Test coach if he fails against Australia.

In the latest events, WV Raman, who was also once in contention with Gambhir for the post of India's head coach, took to Twitter and urged the Indian side to rope in Sachin Tendulkar as a batting consultant.

"I think that #TeamIndia could benefit if they have the services of #Tendulkar as the batting consultant in their prep for the #BGT2025. Enough time between now and the 2nd test. Roping in consultants is rather common these days. Worth a thought?"

Uncertainty Around Rohit Sharma's Participation In Perth Test

There is still an uncertainty over Rohit Sharma's participation in Perth Test as the Indian skipper is reported to be expecting his second child with his wife Ritika Sandesh.

He is yet to travel to Australia and is currently practising in Mumbai for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Notably, India will play Australia for the first Test on November 22 at the Gabba in Perth.
