It seems like Australia’s powerhouse opener, Travis Head’s wife, Jess, knows how to have fun at the Indian team’s expense. Recently, Jess hopped onto a social media trend, and she didn’t miss the chance to slip in a little reminder of Australia’s thrashing of India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final.

Jess Head’s Instagram Story Pokes Fun at India’s WC 2023 Final Loss

The trend was simple: people posted a “No skipping...!! U in November last year” photo. Jess posted her own version on Instagram, a throwback picture of herself with their daughter, with none other than the Narendra Modi Stadium in the background.

And it wasn’t just any day at the stadium, it was the India vs Australia World Cup final, where Travis Head played a starring role, hitting a blistering 137 off 120 balls and leading Australia to victory.

Jess added the caption “IYKYK,” which, for the uninitiated, means “If you know, you know.” A perfect little jab at India’s painful loss to the Aussies, who took the final by storm with a six-wicket win.

Head’s Heroics in the Final

It’s easy to see why Jess couldn’t resist the subtle jab. Travis Head was unstoppable that day, smashing 15 fours and 4 sixes in a stunning 137-run knock that made India’s 241-run target look small. With Head leading the chase, Australia sailed to victory, making it clear who owned the final.

Family Life for the Heads

While Jess was having fun with the throwback post, it’s been a busy time for the family in real life. Just a few weeks back, on October 4, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Harrison George Head.

Jess shared the delightful news of their son’s arrival on Instagram with cute family photos featuring little Harrison and their daughter, Mila. The caption read, “04•11•2024 Welcome to the world Harrison George Head.”

With Mila being born in September 2022, the Heads are now a family of four. And with a World Cup title under his belt, it looks like Travis has plenty to celebrate both on and off the field.
