Recently, Amit Mishra has made triggering revelations during a recent podcast with Shubhankar Mishra. Mishra has made several blunt and bold remarks on dynamic Indian batter, Virat Kohli. He also shared several experiences that he had with the eminent cricketer.

After all the allegations, former Indian Cricketer, Robin Uthappa came in support of Virat Kohli and also hailed him for his evolution after Mishra's remarks.

Amit Mishra mentioned that Virat Kohli is not regarded as a great cricketer among other top cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid. He also further added that Virat Kohli has changed after getting name and fame, however, Rohit Sharma is the same and has not changed.

Robin Uthappa Comes In Support Of Virat Kohli

Talking to cricket.com/tv, Robin Uthappa jumped to the defence of Kohli hailing him for his evolution from a young Delhi boy to a legend of the game.

"I have actually seen Virat kind of evolve from a brash young Delhi boy to an evolved human being. You know the evolution has been quite tremendous, to be honest. Today he's practically reaping what he had sown 15 years ago," Robin Uthappa said on cricket.com/tv.

Further speaking ahead, Robin Uthappa was also praised Kohli for his conviction in his game and mentioned how he turned the belief in his abilities into staggering career numbers.

"One of the things that has always stood out to me about Cheeku has been his conviction in himself. When I listen to a young 19-year-old Virat Kohli, you know talking about himself or his conviction in himself, you'll get mortified, you'll be like 'What is this dude talking about?'. "But fast forward 10 years and you be like 'Okay now that makes sense,'" he added.

After India's T20 World Cup 2024 triumph in the West Indies and USA, Virat Kohli drew curtains from T20I. The 35-year-old cricketer did not have a good outing with the bat until he played a commendable knock in the final against South Africa. Virat stepped up for the 'Men In Blue' when it mattered the most he scored 76 runs off 59 balls.
