Chennai Super Kings (CSK) latest sensation, Rachin Ravindra, lauded the team's inclusive environment, emphasizing camaraderie over hierarchy.

The young Kiwi batter, playing his maiden IPL season, expressed his delight at joining the star-studded Chennai franchise, citing the warm welcome he received from teammates and staff alike.

"It was pretty special... a lot of the lads, not just the overseas guys, but the Indian guys are such good people. So it's very easy to get along with people in a team like this," Rachin remarked on his experience with CSK.

Rachin Ravindra, known for his explosive batting, showcased his talent early in the IPL 2024 season with two impactful knocks. He smashed 37 off 15 balls in the opener against RCB and followed it up with a brilliant 46 off 20 balls against Gujarat Giants

Underlining the relaxed ambiance within the team, Rachin highlighted the absence of hierarchy, stating, "It's all pretty chill, which for me, helps me a lot means I can come in and just not try to be anyone else. I can just be myself in that environment and let it happen."

The 24-year-old left-hander, who was picked by CSK for Rs 1.8 crores in the auction, drew attention due to his outstanding performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup, where he amassed 578 runs, including three centuries, for New Zealand.

Meanwhile, CSK, led by new skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, has begun the season on a high note, currently topping the table with an unbeaten streak. Rachin credited the team's mentality for bringing out the best in him, expressing optimism for the upcoming matches.

As Chennai gears up to face Delhi Capitals(DC) in their first away game on March 31 in Vizag, all eyes will be on Rachin Ravindra to continue his stellar form and contribute to CSK's quest for IPL glory.
