'Enjoyed Food In Karachi' - New Zealand Star Lauds Pakistan's Hospitality Amidst CT 2025 Limbo

As the Champions Trophy 2025's hosting responsibilities are still undecided, Pakistan are doing everything they can do to keep their sole historic duties which could be a historic event. Amidst all these, New Zealand's star bowler Tim Southee stepped up to show his support towards Pakistan cricket.

In a recent interview Pakistan's local news channel, Southee highlighted how well they were greeted when New Zealand toured Pakistan two years ago. There, he thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, particularly their food.

"Two years ago, I toured Pakistan with the New Zealand team, and I have many pleasant memories of that time. During the Test series, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality in Karachi," Southee said, as quoted by cricketpakistan.com.pk.

In addition, Southee showed his desire to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the years to come. The 35-year-old, one of the all-time greats of New Zealand, is no longer a regular across formats for the country, and hence, he would love to participate in the competition in coming years.

“The Pakistan Super League is an amazing tournament that I follow, and I would be thrilled to be a part of it in the future,” Southee added.

Notably, Southee has played four IPL franchises: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
