In the latest developments, Ishan Kishan is expected to make a comeback. As reported by Cricbuzz, Kishan has agreed to play for Jharkhand in the upcoming domestic season.

Earlier in the year, Kishan asked for an indefinite break from cricket, which resulted in his snub from BCCI's central contracts. The pocket dynamo returned to cricket with an IPL stint with Mumbai Indians. However, the BCCI made it clear that Kishan's comeback to the international fold would only pan after a full cycle of domestic cricket.

Now, the keeper-batter has decided to play for Jharkhand in the forthcoming domestic season. Additionally, the state association is looking to appoint Kishan as their captain for the season.

Kishan was part of India's ODI World Cup in 2023, and then played a couple of matches against Australia laterin the same, before touring South Africa four a ful-fledged tour. However, the southpaw pulled out of the tour last minute, citing personal reasons.
