A massive blow for the Island Nation, as Sri Lanka's star all-rounder and former captain, Wanindu Hasaranga, has been ruled out of the ODI series against India due to a hamstring injury.

This decision is due to the unexpected hamstring injury he suffered during the first ODI against Rohit Sharma and Co at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. He is expected to be missing the remaining two games of the series.

It seems like things are not in Sri Lanka's favour as numerous cricketers like Mateestha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka were ruled out from the series before it even began.
