Abhishek Sharma wishes Yuvraj Singh after Legends League win

Amid the celebrations, young cricketing star Abhishek Sharma, who is currently in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series, took the opportunity to commend his mentor Yuvraj Singh for leading the team to victory.

While the senior pros battled it out in the Legends finale, Sharma, who was part of the victorious Indian squad in Zimbabwe, expressed his admiration for Yuvraj's leadership after India clinched the series 4-1 on Sunday by beating the hosts by 42 runs in the final T20I.

“We all saw, the last four or five overs. It's always a big thing when we’re playing Pakistan. Yes, congratulations to my mentor (Yuvraj Singh) on the win,” said Sharma, celebrating the win from afar.

The match, watched by fans worldwide, saw Pakistan set a challenging score of 156/6. In response, India Champions began their pursuit with a stumble, losing early wickets of Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina.

However, the innings was revitalized by Ambati Rayudu who smashed 50 from 30 balls. His innings, along with Gurkeerat Singh Mann’s supporting role, laid a solid foundation for the middle and late-game heroics.

As the chase heated up, Yusuf Pathan’s quickfire 30 off 16 balls injected much-needed momentum, setting the stage for his brother, Irfan Pathan, to finish the game in style

Amid these scenes of jubilation, Yuvraj Singh, known for his clutch performances, played a crucial yet understated inning of 15 not out, anchoring the team amidst the escalating pressure.
