Held on Saturday, July 14, this match saw a spirited India chase down a target of 157 with five balls to spare, a feat that Singh commemorated on his Twitter account.

Accompanying the celebration images, Yuvraj Singh shared his joy and pride with a delightful and hilarious tweet.

"Feels good to be holding the winning trophy at this age too. Absolutely thrilled with the boys’ (or should I say men’s ) performance throughout the tournament! It’s always great to be back on the park with legends from around the world. A massive thank you to the crowds for coming out in large numbers to support us. And not to forget our coaches and support staff, who did an incredible job oiling our rusted machinery and helping us perform out there! @WclLeague #WCL #WorldChampionshipOfLegends,” wrote the veteran all-rounder.

Coming to the final, the match commenced with Pakistan Champions setting a challenging total of 156/6.

In response, India Champions produced a calculated chase highlighted by Ambati Rayudu's rapid 50 off 30 balls. Despite losing Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina early in their innings, Rayudu, along with Gurkeerat Singh Mann, laid a solid foundation to keep the chase on track.

However, after the dismissal of both set batsmen, it was the Pathan brothers who carried India towards the finish line. Yusuf Pathan contributed a quick 30 off 16 balls, and Irfan Pathan hit the decisive six in the final over, sealing the victory and sparking widespread celebrations.

Yuvraj Singh, playing a more subdued but crucial inning of 15 not out off 22 balls, was instrumental in maintaining the team's balance amid the on-field pressure.
