Former CSK batter Suresh Raina, who achieved great success in the shorter format, praised Sanju Samson to rate his batting talent and captaincy skills highly. Raina revealed how he is a big fan of Samson and is confident of the wicket-keeper making it big in the future.
Sanju Samson, captain of Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL, has been inconsistent when it comes to proving himself at the international level. His inability to utilise his opportunities to the fullest has led to a musical chair situation. He often finds himself in and out of the team, with competition soaring.
However, during a recent T20I series against Bangladesh, Sanju Samson stamped his authority with a sublime century in a historic game that saw India post 297/6 mega total on the board. With that, Samson has booked himself a place in atleast a couple of more series.
