Team India's fast bowling duo, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, have a relationship that transcends the sport of cricket. Their friendship tends to make headlines on and off the cricketing pitch, and lately, Bumrah's sassy post about Siraj once again charmed the hearts of fans.

On Sunday, Bumrah shared a photo with his teammate Siraj on Instagram, captioning it, “This one’s real… everything else is fake.” 

The post immediately went viral, sparking laughter among fans who loved seeing the lighter side of the usually calm Indian pacer.

Siraj responds to Jasprit Bumrah’s playful dig

Responding to Jasprit Bumrah’s dig, Mohammed Siraj said, "Mohammed Siraj official hai baki sab fake hai. Allah hafiz, dua k guzarish.” 

This social media banter happened after India won the 1st Test against the West Indies by an innings and 140 runs. Siraj delivered a match-winning performance, taking 4 wickets for 40 runs in the first innings and three for 31 in the second.

His fiery spell dismantled the West Indies batting lineup, ensuring India’s emphatic win in just three days at the Ahmedabad stadium. As for Jasprit Bumrah, he picked 3 wickets in the first inning and remained wicketless in the second.

Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul also shone, with Jadeja scoring an unbeaten 104 and taking four wickets, while Rahul and Dhruv Jurel contributed crucial centuries. The win extended India’s unbeaten home record against the West Indies to 30 years.

The second Test between India and the West Indies will take place on October 10 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
