Among them is the former skipper and Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli, who is poised to enter the prestigious club of players who have represented India in 500 international matches. 

Recently, Team India was seen playing in Dominica and defeated Windies by 141 runs and an innings, where the former Indian captain played a pivotal role, notching up a gritty 76. 

It is worth mentioning Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are already on the list, and now Kohli is joining them. It is a proud moment for Indian cricket, and we wish him all the best for his upcoming match on July 20th.

Sachin Tendulkar

Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar ranks top on the list, where he played whopping 664 international matches, he has been holding the record for long now. Where he marked the most international wins (307), he played for India over 24 years.

Regarded as the best batter to have ever played the game, Tendulkar has milestones under his belt, among which are the most number of centuries (100) hit by any batter and most international runs (34,357).

Notably, no international cricketer has played more matches than India's Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

MS Dhoni

The former Indian captain MS Dhoni played a tally of 538 international matches for India. He is the only captain to mark a win in all three ICC white-ball trophies. Nevertheless, Dhoni had 295 wins in 535 games, where he slammed 17,266 runs across all formats. 

As a batter, Dhoni had 16 centuries and 108 half-centuries to his name. Meanwhile, he affected 829 dismissals from behind the stumps.


Rahul Dravid

The current India head coach Rahul Dravid is on the list with a mammoth 509 International matches for India, securing 216 wins during his career.

Dravid, known to be the Wall of the Indian Team, was one of the best batters of his time - alongside Sachin Tendulkar. For the longest time, the former Indian No.3 batter was the second to SRT on every batting milestone before Virat Kohli came into the fold.

Kohli will become the 4th India Player to play the 500th International match for India. The former skipper will make a big record in his name.
