India crushed SL by 10 wickets in Asia Cup final [AP]
India made a mockery out of Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023. In what was a forgettable innings for Sri Lanka, India treated them like a minnow, bowling them out for a meagre total of 50 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah opened the doors of Sri Lanka's catastrophe, dismissing their opener, Kusal Perera, in the first over of the match. Mohammed Siraj piled on the momentum, taking the next six wickets, also claiming the record of the joint-fastest five-for in the ODI format.
Hardik Pandya laid down the knockout punch, bagging the last three wickets as Sri Lanka crashed at a score of 50.
