Virat Kohli - 7 Centuries

The global icon, Virat Kohli is one of the greatest players in cricketing history. His consistency and ability to adapt to all formats of the game is what makes him unique. Over all these years, he has scored over 7200 IPL runs and is on the top when it comes to the most runs in the history of the IPL. 

While playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat has been a force to the squad. The IPL 2016 is considered the 'Virat Kohli year' as he went on to smash 973 runs in a single edition, and the record is still unbreakable. He was in beast form as he smashed four centuries in a season and now holds the record for scoring the most tons in the history of IPL.


Chris Gayle - 6 Centuries

The Universe Boss, Chris Gayle is the giant of the shortest format. With his Caribbean power, he holds numerous records in the Indian Premier League. He has represented Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings franchises in the league and has won games for them single-handedly. 

Whether it's the record of the most number of sixes or the highest score in the history of IPL, he owns both of them. Gayle is arguably the best hitter of the ball and was the one who can smash sixes at will. Well, he comes second on the list of players with the most centuries, as he has slammed six tons and has scored over 4900 runs during his IPL career. 


Jos Buttler - 5 Centuries

The England's white-ball captain, Jos Buttler is known as the white-ball gun, due to his ability to smash long balls and score loads of runs. He is currently a part of the Rajasthan Royals team and has also represented Mumbai Indians for a couple of seasons during 2016 and 2017. 

If there was an IPL season that Jos Buttler will remember as the highlight of his career, it would be the 2022 season, as he went on to hammer 863 runs including four centuries and four half-centuries. In total, he has five centuries under his belt, which brings him to the third number when it comes to the players with the most centuries.


KL Rahul - 4 Centuries

The Lucknow Super Giants captain, KL Rahul has evolved and has strengthened his batting over all these years. He is now one of the most consistent batters in the Indian Premier League and possesses the ability to smash centuries. 

Apart from contributing with the bat, he has been an exceptional leader as he took LSG to the playoffs twice. For straight three years, KL Rahul went on to slam 600-plus runs each season. He also won the orange cap for scoring 670 runs during the IPL 2021. He has four centuries under his name and will hope to add some more in the coming season. 


Shane Watson - 4 Centuries

Shane Watson has been more than a player in the Indian Premier League, as he has featured in the league as a player, and a leader and now you must have seen him sitting as a member of support staff in Delhi Capitals camp as well. He has represented Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Banglore during his career. 

Shane Watson not only excelled in batting but also leadership and bowling. In two seasons 2008 and 2018, Watson was named as the Player of the Tournament for his all-around performances. He has over 3800 IPL runs and has four tons registered to his name, which makes him the fifth batter with most centuries in the IPL.
