At the halfway stage of the IPL 2021 season in Dubai, CSK veteran Dwayne Bravo raided 23 swift runs from just eight balls against his former team Mumbai Indians. Batting at number eight, the cricketer clubbed three huge sixes in his fiery eight-ball cameo to take CSK to a competitive 156-6 by the competition of their 20 overs.

Bravo, however, was far from done, as he also picked up three wickets during the Mumbai Indians run-chase later in the game, and won the game for his side.

4. 64* (53) & 1-25 vs KKR, IPL 2008

During the earlier days of IPL back in its inaugural edition of 2008, Dwayne Bravo established himself as one of the mainstays of the Mumbai Indians franchise with a remarkable all-round spectacle against a star-studded KKR line-up. With the ball, Bravo complimented Sanath Jayasuriya’s three-fer with a wicket of his own to claim figures of 1-25.

Chasing 138 in the second half of the game, the charismatic right-handed batter notched up an unbeaten 64 from just 53 balls with eight boundaries and a six.

CSK were reeling at 84-6, soon to be 118-8, and chasing 166 from 20 overs. However, Dwayne Bravo took charge at number seven and muscled his way to 68 runs off just 30 deliveries with seven huge sixes and three boundaries.

Taking a high-flying Rajasthan Royals attack to the cleaners, the seasoned cricketer and T20 veteran smeared eight boundaries and one six and formed an unbeaten 91-run partnership in just 65 balls with legendary CSK captain and all-time great MS Dhoni.

Bravo also dismissed Rajasthan Royals’ number three batter Steve Smith quiet cheaply in the run-chase to cap a remarkable all-round performance.

1. 30 (17) & 3-24 vs Deccan Chargers, IPL 2008

Batting at number six, Bravo clobbered two boundaries and two sixes to make 30 off 17 balls against the likes of RP Singh, Shahid Afridi and Pragyan Ojha. His innings stretched the Mumbai Indians total to a highly-competitive 178-7 from 20 overs.
