The Indian-origin South African player, Keshav Maharaj has been among the elite players who represent the Proteas in all three formats of the game. Being an Indian, Keshav Maharaj has been a fond believer of Lord Rama, and it has been evident from his entrances on the cricket field with a background music on the Lord Rama.

Every time he comes out to bat, the spiritual song 'Ram Siya Ram' is played in the background while he walks to the pitch. Even in the recently concluded series against India, every time he walked out to bat, the same song was played. After hearing the news of Rama's temple and the welcoming of the god, Keshav Maharaj congratulated all the Indians on this auspicious occasion.

When it comes to spirituality, Rohit Sharma is also among the cricketers who have been visiting temples during the breaks. The Indian captain was also invited to the welcoming ceremony of the Lord Rama in Ayodhya.

While there are still some speculations about his presence at the temple during the ceremony, it doesn't rule out the fact that he is not a devotee of Lord Rama.
