The Chinna Thala, Suresh Raina, who is also known as the Mr. IPL, was a prominent member of the Chennai Super Kings throughout his IPL career. He played a crucial role in CSK's run to their first four titles and even a couple of Champions League titles. Raina with his exceptional skills created magic wearing the Yellow batting at number three. 

The left-hander hammered 5,528 runs in his IPL career in 205 games, including one century and 39 fifty-plus scores. Throughout his career, he went on to score 500 plus runs three times in the years 2010, 2013 and 2014, which places him at the fifth position of the record for smashing 500+ IPL runs the most number of times.

The Gabbar of the Indian cricket, Shikhar Dhawan has been an immaculate gun for whichever team he has played for. He has represented, Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad so far and currently playing as the captain of the Punjab Kings. He has a unique record of hitting the most number of fours in the IPL under his belt. 

The southpaw from Delhi has featured in 217 matches, scoring 6,617 runs so far, which is the second most runs in the history of IPL after Virat Kohli. With two centuries, 50 half-centuries and 5 times 500+ runs in an IPL season to his name, he is placed at the fourth spot on this record.

One of the most versatile batters in Indian cricket, KL Rahul has emerged as a prominent figure in the Indian Premier League. From making his IPL debut from Royal Challengers Bangalore to becoming the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul has come a long way. 

The keeper-batter has been a prolific player in the last few seasons of the league and has also been among the top scorers. In just 118 games, he has already hammered 4,163 runs, which includes four centuries and 33 half-centuries. With 500+ runs in five IPL seasons, he is placed at the third spot of the record.

The greatest batter in the history of the Indian Premier League, Virat Kohli is the only player to have scored over 7,000 runs. Kohli despite being from Delhi, has been playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore ever since his IPL debut. He even has a record for most runs in a season to his name, as he scored 973 runs in IPL 2016 and the record is still intact even after 7 years.

Talking about his legendary IPL career, he has hammered 7,263 runs in 229 innings with the help of seven centuries and 50 half-centuries. In the years, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2023, Kohli has crossed the 500-run mark, which equals six times, thus he is placed at the second spot on the list.

One of the rarest foreign players, who has been successful in the Indian Premier League, David Warner has even won an IPL trophy for his team. Since his IPL debut, Warner has only featured for two teams, Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was the foremost batter for the Hyderabad team and led the team from the front, winning the championship in 2016. 

Coming onto his IPL career, he is the most successful foreign player in terms of consistency and runs he has under his belt. With nearly 6,400 runs in 176 innings and 500+ runs in the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2023, which equals seven times, he reigns at the top of this record.
