The teams are all set for the event, which is considered the biggest in the cricket world. Or one can say that we are all set for the Mother of all cricketing events, the Cricket World Cup 2023. It is all about peaking at the right time, and the teams are looking quite competitive ahead of the World Cup.

Well, the five-time World Cup champions aren't looking great, as they have lost their last five ODIs. Three against South Africa and now two against India, team Australia have not been up to their standards. With one last game left before they head to the World Cup, Australia will not just look to beat India, but also dominate them in the third and final ODI.

Not just the Aussie batters, but their bowlers are having a pretty hard time too. So, here we have the top 5 Aussie bowlers who have conceded the most runs in an ODI.

Adam Zampa (X)

Before the series against India, the Australian team was in South Africa for a five-match ODI series. Their frontline spinner, Adam Zampa bowled brilliantly in the first two games, picking up five wickets.

He did not play the third match, but in the fourth game, he went for 113 runs in his quota of ten overs. This is the worst bowling figure from any Australian till date. Heinrich Klaasen smacked Zampa for five sixes and undoubtedly took all the credit to make him the costliest Australian bowler.

Mick Lewis (113 in 10 Overs vs South Africa)

Mick Lewis was the former Australian fast bowler and he was first on this unwanted record until Adam Zampa equalled his record of conceding most runs in an ODI. Well, both Zampa and Lewis were smashed by the South Africans only.

Back in 2006, when Australia toured South Africa for the five-match ODI series and in the fifth ODI, South Africa were asked to chase 435 runs. Herschelle Gibbs took charge of the chase and smacked 174 helping the Proteas win the game by one wicket. Lewis suffered the damage as he went for 113 in his quota of 10 overs.

Cameron Green (103 in 10 Overs vs India) 2023

Cameron Green, the young all-rounder of the Australian team did not had a good time in the second ODI against India in the ongoing series. With centuries from Shubman Gill and Iyer and half-centuries from Rahul and Sky, Cameron Green consumed all the hammering.

India smashed 399 runs and Green went for 103 in his 10 overs. He did take a couple of wickets, but he was way too expensive. Australia will be pleased to have Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins back for the last ODI which will be happening on 27th September.

Andrew Tye (100 in 9 Overs vs England) 2018

Back in 2018, in an ODI series against England, Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales smashed mammoth tons and England went on to score 481 in the first innings of the third ODI. Australian team were without Starc, Hazy, and cummins in this set-up.

Andrew Tye, who made his ODI debut in the begining of the same year had a forgettable outing. He was smacked all over the ground for 100 runs in his nine overs and went wicket less. Also, Andrew Tye have not given an opportunity in this format since that game.

Jhye Richardson (92 in 10 Overs vs England) 2018

It was the same game where Andrew Tye went for 100 runs and his fellow Aussie, Jhye Richardson also went for 92 in his 10 overs. Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow hammered the Aussies with their 147 and 139 run knocks respectively.

Jhye Richardson also made his ODI debut in the begining of the same year. With premium Aussie bowlers on rest, England team made fun of Jhye and Tye's bowling and hammered them all over the park.
