As per emerging reports, Rohit Sharma lost his iPhone before the third and final ODI between India and Australia, which took place at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot, on Wednesday (September 27).

The incident, as per mykhel.com, took place while Rohit Sharma was practicing during the pre-game sessions. Soon after, Rohit discovered his phone was missing.

Rohit Sharma did not play the first two matches against Australia, which took place in Mohali and Indore, respectively. During the third and final ODI, the veteran batsman returned to the fray, but then things turned sour.

Rohit has a habit of forgetting his personal things and gadgets, which Virat Kohli previously revealed in an interview. However, it appears that the all-format skipper was not at fault in the most recent incident.

Though Rohit did not disappoint with the bat in hand in the Rajkot ODI.  The stylish opener slammed a blazing 57-ball 81, laced with six sixes and five fours. However, his valiant efforts went in vain as India lost the dead-rubber by 66 runs.

India's first World Cup warm-up match will be on September 29 against England in Guwahati. The Men in Blue will begin the main event's campaign on October 8 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
