India has etched its name in an elite list after bagging the second Test against West Indies on October 14 and sealing a 2-0 series win. The win, a first for captain Shubman Gill and 122nd for India at home, makes it to the top 3 amidst elite cricketing nations who have a numbers of dominance on their home turf.

5) 95 - West Indies (270 Matches)
West Indies have lost their 10th consecutive Test match against India but that doesn't lessen their glory in Whites. The Caribbean side has played 270 Test matches and managed to bag 95 home wins with 101 matches ending in a draw. They have a win/loss ratio of 1.283, which rounds to a success rate of 35.2% on their home soil.
Notably, their recent appearances at home weren't impressive. They lost their most recent Australia Test series 3-0 at home, a tied 2-match series against Bangladesh and a lost series against South Africa.
4) 121 - South Africa (254 Matches)
South Africa has won 121 Test matches on home soil out of the 254 they have played since 1889. They have lost 77 matches, while 56 have ended in a draw. Their win-to-loss ratio stands at approximately 1.571, giving them a home success rate of around 47.6%.
