One of the most popular leagues in the world, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), has had its fair share of gigantic scores. And those match scores have come on the back of some big-hitting masterclasses.
In the past, there have been many tremendous performances from players in the CPL, where superstars have come to join the biggest party with plenty of sixes for their teams in this tournament. Therefore, in this article, we will have a look at players with the most sixes in Caribbean Premier League history.
4) Johnson Charles - 172 Sixes
At the joint number four position is the big-hitting Johnson Charles, who is currently a part of the St. Lucia Kings' side in the CPL. After making his debut in 2013, Charles has featured in a total of 128 matches where he has thumped 172 maximums at a strike rate of 132.61, with 3,501 runs in his tally. With 23 half-centuries to his name, Charles has surely lived up to the expectation and is expected to continue doing so for his respective side.
4) Chris Gayle - 172 Sixes
Another player who is tied at the number four position is the legendary, big-hitting, former West Indian opener, Christopher Henry Gayle, or Chris Gayle. Gayle played from the 2013 edition to the 2021 edition in 85 games, scoring 2,519 runs at an average of 36.50 while striking at 133.13, with 13 half-centuries and four centuries to his name, as he also struck 172 maximums in his entire CPL career.
