The 2024 CPL edition has been no indifferent as batters have shown no mercy toward the bowlers. The teams have continued to the limits with impressive totals, thus showcasing aggressive batting and fearless cricket brand of cricket.

Trinbago Knight Riders added another massive total to their record by scoring 250/4 against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the CPL 2024 edition. Batting first, Sunil Narine opened the innings and blazed his way to a quick 38 off 19 balls, providing the perfect launchpad for the Knight Riders.

Nicolas Pooran followed with a sensational innings, scoring 97 off 43 balls and clearing the ropes with ease. Later, Keacy Carty supported Pooran with 73 off 35 balls in the death overs to push the score to 250/4. Despite valiant efforts from the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, they were unable to overcome the daunting target set by the Knight Riders and fell short of 44 runs.

Jamaica Tallawahs set the second-highest total in the CPL 2021 against the Saint Lucia Kings. Batting first, the Tallawahs' openers, Kennar Lewis and Chadwick Walton, laid a strong foundation with a rapid start. Walton scored 47 off 29 balls, while Lewis hammered a magnificent 48 off 21 balls. Later, the middle order capitalised on the explosive start.

Captain Rovman Powell and Andre Russell played dynamic cameos; Russell, in particular, was brutal, scoring 50 off just 14 balls, which included six sixes. Their aggressive batting led the Tallawahs to a formidable total of 255/5. Despite some resistance from the Saint Lucia Kings, the target proved too steep, and the Tallawahs secured a comfortable win.

The Trinbago Knight Riders set the record for the highest team total in CPL history in 2019 against Jamaica Tallawahs. In this unforgettable match, the Knight Riders' openers provided a blistering start. While Lendl Simmons smashed a quickfire 86 off 42 balls, Munro contributed with a power-packed 96 off just 50 balls.

The duo's aggressive approach set the foundation for the massive score. Kieron Pollard, with his typical flair, added the finishing touches with a rapid 45* from 17 balls. The Knight Riders ended their innings at a mammoth 267/2 total. Eventually, Jamaica Tallawahs could not chase down the target and lost the matchup by 41 runs.
