In one such off-field instance, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill called out good friend and teammate Ishan Kishan for stealing his shirt. Apparently, Kishan shared a photo of himself holidaying at an undisclosed location. The wicket-keeper batter donned a blue shirt with huge checks.

However, Gill staked a claim on the shirt and demanded the clothing back by leaving a playful comment on the Instagram post. He wrote, ‘Bhai shirt toh wapis de deta (Brother, please return my shirt).” While Kishan has yet to react to the same, the fans were quick to catch wind of the banter, and the exchange went viral across social media platforms.

Gill and Kishan have known each other since their rookie years in domestic cricket. Their bond only grew stronger as the duo paved their way into international cricket. Even in national colours, the duo were seen exchanging playful conversations and banter.

Having said that, the players' brief vacation came to an end last weekend as the Indian team flew to South Africa for an extensive bilateral series, which consists of 3 T20s, as many ODIs, and 2 test matches.

The T20 series commenced on Sunday, but due to bad weather, the game was abandoned without a toss. The next game is scheduled for Tuesday 12th December, where the weather forecast seems identical.
