On 13th December 2015, Indian captain Rohit Sharma tied the knot with his partner and manager of longtime, Ritika Sajdeh, in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Sparing time from his busy schedule, Sharma began his forever with Ritika, and today marks the couple's eight-year anniversary.

In these past eight years, the duo encountered various highs and lows but stuck by each other through every setback. The couple were later blessed with a daughter who now has become the light of the family. 

Meanwhile, in 2017, on his second wedding anniversary, Rohit Sharma pulled off a special surprise that eventually embedded his name into the history books of the game.

While facing Sri Lanka in an ODI game, the opening batter scored a magnificent double hundred to become the only player in the history of the sport to have achieved as many as three double tons in the ODI format. He scored a colossal unbeaten knock of 208 runs, which comprised 13 boundaries and 12 sixes in total.

The feat was special in many ways. Apart from scripting history, Rohit Sharma also realized that it was a perfect anniversary he could have got for his wife and thus dedicated the extraordinary moment to her with a sweet gesture.
