When Ravindra Jadeja Ran Hardik Pandya Out In 2017 Champions Trophy Final

The third Test between India and England at Rajkot witnessed a familiar sight with Ravindra Jadeja running out debutant Sarfaraz Khan, with whom he added 77 runs.

Of late, Jadeja has been quite guilty of running his partners out, with the latest being the second case in this series. Earlier, the veteran all-rounder ran Ravichandran Ashwin out in the first Test at Hyderabad during India's first innings.

However, Jadeja's most infamous mix-up came during India's ICC Champions Trophy 20217 final against Pakistan, where his miscommunication with Hardik Pandya led to the latter's dismissal, turning the tide in Pakistan's favour.

Chasing 339, India suffered a top-order collapse, which witnessed Pandya and Jadeja consolidate and bring the Virat Kohli-led XI back into the game until the former's unfortunate run out dismissal.

Pandya slammed a quick-fire 76 off 43 before Jadeja tapped the ball for a quick single and then was found watching the ball at the striker's end.

He didn't respond to Pandya's call, as the latter reached the batting end and got himself stranded. Ace Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali uprooted the bails with the ball in his hand at the non-striker's end.

Pandya rightly got livid and could be seen shouting at Jadeja following the incident. However, the all-rounder apologised to the CSK mainstay in the Indian dressing room.

Meanwhile, Jadeja will resume batting on 110 on Day 2 of the Rajkot, hoping to extend India's first innings score as much as possible with the lower-order.
